Steve Harrelson is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana, and his practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, divorce and custody issues, and litigation regarding construction and security issues. Steve practices throughout the three state region in state and federal courts. In addition to litigating complex issues inside the courtroom, Steve is also experienced in private negotiations, mediations, and seeking remedies at the administrative level.
While Steve enjoys many areas of the legal arena, his passion is preparing for and engaging in the trial by jury. Steve believes in the constitutional right to trial by jury and is willing to protect and preserve this concept on which the American tort system is founded.
In addition to his law practice, Steve is currently serving as the Arkansas State Representative for District 1. He currently serves on the Judiciary, Public Transportation, Energy, and City, County, and Local Affairs Committees. Being involved in the legislative process is a lifelong dream of Steve's, and in addition to pursuing interests on behalf of his constituents, he considers each issue that comes before him with the utmost honor and thoughtfulness.
Steve is a lifelong resident of Texarkana, Arkansas and is married to the former Lori Smith. Steve and Lori have one daughter, Camille, and are active members of the First United Methodist Church, Arkansas. Steve's hobbies include running marathons and triathlons, following the Razorbacks, and recreational flying.
